If I died Tomorrow (poem) -
June 28th 2012, 06:17 AM
If I died tomorrow
Would you come to my wake?
If you cried from the sorrow
Would they say it was fake?
If I tried to borrow
What I couldn't take...
Would they carve me hollow
For just one mistake?
If the world doesn't want me
Why shouldn't I leave?
I doubt that these churls
Would whimper or grieve;
So I'm asking you please
If just for my sake,
Come by tomorrow
To cry at my wake.
(Remember folks, read till the punctuation, not just the end of a line).
