You Are A Winner To Me - A Poem -
June 11th 2012, 03:00 AM
Last week my school held elections for the board of the drama club. I was running for the position of President. Unfortunately, I did not get elected, but I was still told that it was really, really close. I felt really let down, but I knew that I'd feel better by writing a poem. SO, this poem is for anybody who wanted to win something, but it didn't turn out the way you had planned. My words to you...DON'T GIVE UP! KEEP TRYING TO DO WHAT YOU SET OUT TO DO, AND IT WILL BENEFIT YOU SOME DAY!
Here is the link to the video of me reading the poem.
Enjoy!!

What an awesome poem. I find that Teens struggle with so much, and sometimes are left with an option to fight, or to give up. I strongly encourgage youth (my peers) to fight the long fight that will eventually lead to success. We (TeenHelp staff and members) are always here to fight the fight with you.
Thanks for this video.
Best wishes,
Chris
