Taking Temporary Leave -
January 3rd 2021, 12:16 AM
I'm sorry to inform you, but presently I need absence from Teen Help because my Bachelors finals begin next Tuesday. This means I will be taking temporary leave of the forums.
Next term I will be commencing my Masters which will take a good five years, during which I will be working in the career of my dreams, though I will probably be back before then.
Also, I will visit to read and reply to private messages, but that will be all until my present exams are finished.
Goodnight and to those who have helped me with such love and patience, thank you so much.

Thank you for your well wishes, Sarah.
Julie was bad most of the night again with this debilitating Long Covid also causing immense fatigue. I overslept, but managed lunch and now it's back to the revision grindstone.

Sorry to see you go, Wendi, but I'm glad you're focusing on you and what you need right now. Hopefully we'll see you pop back from time to time! Take care and good luck with your exams

Good luck on your finals!
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive

Hey my lovelies, I'll be back after my exams this week! I'm all fired up ready to go!
I was only 15 when Maman took me out of state school here and privately educated me with this degree course. Three years' slog has got me to finals and I'm only 18, but she calls me an academic. Meaning I'm a swot. Yeah, well I must be for being a bookworm.

Sorry I overlooked your post, Hollie. I am not leaving Teen Help. Only while I'll be doing exams, and then hopefully will be back and then sit out my job-in-waiting. Even when starting this, I will, or course, continue participating in this lovely site.

Good luck on your exams and the new job, Wendi! We'll be here when you're ready to return.
May I suggest that you start a blog when you return and decide to be more involved? I say this because you have so much to say — not just to offer — on a very personal level and I feel they'd be best demonstrated on your blog.
I'll definitely subscribe and I'm sure others would be more than happy to.
When things have settled down and you've gotten into the groove of things, I suggest applying for Articles/Resources Editor.
Anyways, I wish you the best of luck with your exams. Please let us know how it goes!

Thank you, Flight, but my exam today was cancelled until tomorrow due to staff sickness. As if my nerves aren't shredded enough!

Melancholia, thank you for your encouraging comment that I apply for Articles/Resources Editor. However, only yesterday did Rob cancel my application on my request for reasons I don't have the time. This is because I'm starting a job soon after my exams (date to be declared). Also, Julie has Long Covid and because Maman's agent is offering her work after vaccination, my responsibility is to take care of my twin sis. Julie's health and welfare has always been is my priority!
Once I get settled, as you suggested, I will consider starting a blog. Sounds like it could be fun. It's nice knowing that you would subscribe and others, maybe. But for the time being I'd rather be active on the forums, especially because the site needs more participating members; sadly, there are none as far as I am aware because Teen Help does need to be more prominent on Google.
Maman always said I was a precocious child. That is probably why you remarked I have 'so much to say'.
My exam has been cancelled today for reasons of staff sickness. Instead it is scheduled for tomorrow. Gah! Makes me so annoyed, though sickness can't be helped.
