Re: 1st December

Thank you Emma and Celyn and Heathen for your lovely welcomes.

I've had a rough life, but come out tops. I made journals what logged my ups and downs and way thru's. I never was good at spelling, n sometimes I try spelling by what a word hears like. Kind of strange whne I learnt to play piano by hearing and watching the chords, similar to playing guitar. So I learned by hearing, by memory. But, put sheet music in front and it all seems higgledy-piggledy. Bit like my life. :D I think now I've reached a fairly flat-line now, so my life is less eventful.

But I do get triggered. Thats when I log out quick and pace myself to get the panic down. Then I'm on the level again.

I can drive, but only when in company. Can drive a tractor alright, heh! And I chop logs as that helps level me, too.

I like it here. Nice peeps. If you don't see me, I'm either working or, learning to put into clear grammar a reply to someone. For me that takes a lot of time. But it is worth it whne the other person gets help.

Pork Chops is my nickname only becuase I love porky chops for dinner. I love cooking anyway. You see, if put a plate of good chow down to fam and friends, I get loved back if it's good. An thtas the hole point. Love me, love my cooking, charred bits and all! :dem:

All the best,
Happy days
Wendi

Haha no, I've never played spoons. There's this thing in the chronic physical/mental illness community called the Spoon Theory, and the person is a Spoonie. The basic concept is that you're given a certain amount of spoons per day. Each activity you do takes a certain amount of spoons away, and when you're out of spoons, you're out for the day and can't really do anything much else. I've seen other people describe it as hit points/life points in a gaming sense. It basically describes how people with chronic physical/mental illness have to allocate their energy and activities because they can't always do as much.

What a wonderful description. Never thought of being a 'spoonie'. But it makes sense because by the end of the busy day I'm mostly comatose.

Thank you for that, and your welcome!

Thank you Malika cuz at some time I will need help.

Life gets too much to handle, and being the only one in my fam who has the motivashun to do things (including logging and DIY), sometimes I cry
cuz its all too much.

I'm doing an online university course: Accountancy, English Literature and wide-span History: Medieval to present. What I'll end up doing, I don't know, but I want a degree. or two. :D

Just that Life gets in the way all the time, and with Maman ill....

I love it here.
