Arrivals and Departures Whether you've just arrived or you're going away for a while, let us know here!
As some of you might already be aware, I'm nearing the end of my Master's degree. I have one assignment left, and unfortunately, it's the largest. I need to submit a 15,000 word dissertation by the end of September. It's going to take a lot of reading, analysing and writing
Since I struggle with balancing my time and sometimes find concentrating difficult, I've decided to take a break from TeenHelp to focus on my studies. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to take some leave, but if you see my username in black, you'll know why
I'll still be around at times and I still plan on keeping HelpLINK running, but otherwise, I probably won't be particularly active.
Hi Holly,
I think it's wonderful that you are almost done with your Master's degree I wish you the best with this, sending you lots of Hugs to help you.

I certainly don't envy you with that massive assignment! However, I do wish you the best of luck with your Masters and just know I'll miss seeing you around.
Woo, soon-to-be Master's buddies! Don't worry, you've got this. You may scream internally a lot, but it'll feel great when it's over! What's the topic?
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive

I'm looking at the effects on the mental health of autistic young people who have been bullied. Originally it was teacher's perceptions of bullying and I was going to interview teachers but with coronavirus it was decided that it was easier to do a 'desktop study' using secondary sources rather than interviewing. So I tweaked my topic slightly for a better fit. It's interesting but also emotionally loaded too.
