"our religion" :3 -
August 13th 2011, 05:27 AM
I believe in The existance of dragons. We are creating a religion based off of their existance. My guardian dragon is a poison dragon named arogasha and she stands twenty feet high. She is over a thousand years old. Are we the only ones who can come in contact with these creatures? Please tell us we are still sane... I personally know the headmaster, chaos. He is over four thousand years old and is the most powerful dragon in existance. After his birth, he was ordered by the previous headmaster to seperate due to the fact that he had so much power and was unable to control it. He is now three different dragons... The other two being death and spell caster. When he becomes powerful enough they will merge together. He is a polygonic dragon whose healer is genesis, a peace keeping dragon. She does her best to keep him from killing everything in his path. Does this make sense?

Are you still sane? I'm not so sure.
But hey, believe what you want to believe. xD
Dragons are pretty awesome, I love the names you've given them.
Do you wanna come with me? 'Cause if you do, then I should warn you - you're gonna see all sorts of things. Ghosts from the past. Aliens from the future. The day the Earth died in a ball of flame. It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be: The trip of a lifetime!

First of all, never call it "Our religion" because that can be reffering to mankind as a whole. "My religion" is much better.
Secondly, it seems rather than a religion you want to write stories. These could be amazing stories but religion must be based off of things you actually believe, not just something you make up.

What you described is not a religion because religions are meant to use certain supernatural beings to explain natural phenomena. You (or your friend) wrote short stories about mythical creatures and gave them names. Religions also require believing they are true, which I'm not sure is the case with your friend and you.
Hopefully this is a more sugar-coated for the mods so my post doesn't get deleted again.

Wow that sounds complicated!
I'm really glad you've found something you believe in, although like others have said, it doesn't sound so much like a religion, more like a belief you have and you could certainly come up with some impressive stories with it!
