My mom says she is Christian, but really she "just believes" imo. Even when cornerd by her and my grandmother about my lack of spirituality, I would ask what makes them believe in God and and that Jesus is my saviour. Their response was basically "they just are."
So luckily my mother did not poses the powers of brainwashing and I am (and in my mind, always have been) a proud agnostic. I won't tell anyone they are wrong because noone knows for sure. I just personally believe that they are.
My dad has never said. The most he tells me is that his parents didn't raise him to be religious. Whether he thinks there is a God or not, I don't know. I do know he took an interest in Wicca with me in my teenage years though

Both my parents are Catholic, and while I've been through the whole believer-agnostic-atheist spectrum at one stage or another I've ended up back at Catholicism as well (which means among other things I confound Richard Dawkins ).

Nope...not really. When I was younger like until I was eight we went to a Catholic Church. My dad was Catholic (passed away). Idk about my mom, she says she believes in god but does do anything to follow any kind of religion. I'm Buddhist.

My mom doesn't really believe in God. My dad believes in God but hasn't been to a church in a while and isn't a specific denomination. I believe in God but I don't go to church due to personal reasons. If anything I guess you could say my dad and I share some of the same beliefs. These seems like a really jumbled answer but thats because it is a confusing situation!

My maternal grandmother was Jewish but was cut off from her family for marrying a non Jewish boy. She didn't raise my mother or her siblings religiously.
My father is not religious.
My mother does not officially belong to a religion, although she has attended a Christian church now and then.
As for me, I'm simply spiritual. No religion required.

Nope. My dad is christian, my mom is agnostic, my brother and I are athiest and I think my sister is agnostic but I'm not sure. My friends are all very different too. I have friends who are athiest, agnostic, pagan, Wiccan, Christian and Islam.

My parents are technically Christians but neither are very devout in any way (i.e. no praying, going to church every 2-3 times per year, no bible, etc...). My father has some crosses and old Christian-depicting pictures he gets fussy about when you suggest moving which then brings out his Christian views. I'm a strong atheist and doing some research in different sects of Satanism but have not joined any of them as of yet.

My whole family is Catholic. I consider myself to be a humanist, and I'm looking into joining a Unitarian Universalist congregation as I would like a sense of community in a setting where I can still practice my own beliefs. So, no.

Somewhat. My mother is a Christian (and I use the term lightly) as am I. However, I am a seventh-day adventist which is a completely different thing than traditional Protestantism. I follow the Bible literally, for what it says. It seems like every other denomination of Christianity never actually reads the Bible and follows it... and yes, I would debate it.

My dad is a christian minister. My mom is a Christian. All my brothers and sisters are Christians. All my aunts/uncles/cousins are really serious Christians. I'm an atheist...it's awkward

My parents are presbyterian and I'm kinda nondenominational. Like I believe in god, I just don't really follow one particular religion (though I was going to look into Buddhism).

My mum's Catholic, my dad's apparently Catholic (but he comes across as Agnostic or even Atheist to me), my sister and two brothers are Atheist and I'm Atheist. So yeah, mum feels like she's totally failed when it comes to bringing up good, Catholic children :P

My family got a bit confusing..
At first, both my parents were good Catholics. Later, my dad started to hate the church and now I don't really know what he is. He does believe in God though. My mom is still Catholic, but I never see her go to church or pray. I would never call us religious.
So ah...Do we follow the same religion? I'm not sure really. It's complicated. I also don't know what my siblings believe.

No, I am Christian. My mom is a non-practicing Christian and my stepdad is a deist, borderline agnostic (he follows all the scientific theories but believes that an intelligent designer somewhere helped cause them). And to those who are Christian in my family, I don't necessarily see eye-to-eye with them theologically. My beliefs are crossing from High Calvinism over to Classical Arminianism (Arminianism of the Heart) and the Christians in my family are Moderate Calvinists or American Baptist in their beliefs (a paradox Calminian view which is logically inconsistent), and a lot are more theologically liberal whereas I'm more conservative.

My mom is Roman Catholic and my Dad is Druze. I don't think I have a religion, just that God is God and Jesus is Jesus. That's it.

My family's a bit confusing. I definitely know my sister is athiest, my step-mum is agnostic and my step-father is christian, but other than that I don't really know. I think my mum is agnostic and my dad seems to have gone through a lot of different religions though he did get us baptised. I'm wiccan which my dad seems a bit confused about as he gave me his book on the american indian medicine path. So yeah I guess you'd say I don't believe the same as them.
