religion/sex

Okay...where do I start...

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about two and a half years. We are not engaged, but we live together. We have been living together for almost two years.

I have been exploring different religions, and have come across one that I really like. However, like many Christian religions, fornication is a sin. I am not a virgin and he is not my first. However, I really feel that we should stop having sex now until we get married. I have told him about it, but I don't know if he is taking me seriously.

I want to be taken seriously in this religion and have it be a part of my life. I guess what I'm asking is how do I convince him that I am serious about waiting until marriage?

you can try. if he respect you he'll undrstand, but he might take a while yto come round to it, as you have been living together for a long tme. it also might cme as a shock. tell him you love him nd suggst marriage, talk lso about yr newreligion to him, help him to understand wy you feel this way

Don't continue having sex. Let your actions speak for you. Don't have sex that will show him that you are serious about the whole issue. And take care, I am being cautious because I don't know him but you know him, so you just be cautious. And also, just take care that he doesn't break up with you because you want to have sex when you are married.
