I have No religion!
 

Well i have never had a religion. My parents are not religious whats so ever and really nobody in my family is. I don't consider myself atheist or anything like that. I do believe there is a higher power but not a god. I don't believe there truely is a heaven or hell and that i don't need to live my life the way a book(not even scientifically proven was written but people that knew "god")says i should. you should be able to live your life the way you want to and stop wasting your time trying to impress someone that is not even there. And obsessing whether you are going to "heaven" or "hell." I used to go to church when i was 8 for like a couple months. But ever since then i haven't stepped foot in a church.

well i have gone 17 years without one, and really don't feel the need for one.

no offense, but what are you trying to accomplish by starting this thread then? is it just an announcement to the world about how you feel, or what? o.O

Oh, okay. :p Maybe I can help:
If you look in the history of this particular forum, you'll see that there are many people here who have posted similar threads and gotten similar results. Most people who post to threads such as these are supportive, sometimes offering up their own stories about how they found non-religion. Sometimes, there are a couple theists who ask you why you don't want religion/faith. Occasionally it'll turn into a debate if you get a skeptic and a theist on the same thread at the same time. Fun stuff, eh?

You know what's fun? There is a name for pretty much any type of belief. Check it out on Wikipedia! I identify as an Agnostic Athiest, meaning I doubt that there is a god and afterlife but there's a very, very small chance that there is one and such.
