"Say Something Good About Another Religion/Spirituality Thread" -
April 8th 2009, 03:58 AM
Since no one can seem to agree with each other, let's say something good about another religion. Say your belief, and say something good about another.
I'm Christian.
Atheists are pretty dang intelligent most of the time.
Geek? Nerd? More like intellectual badass.

I'm Satanist. Hail fundamentalists - they don't pick and choose what parts of their religion to follow.

I'm a Latter-day Saint.
I believe that the way everyone chooses to conduct their religious beliefs is something to be proud of. Everyone worships in the way they percieve to be correct; this is honourable no matter what I believe.

Christianity teaches to love and accept everyone (usually), and kudos to the Christians who actually have that part down.

The call to prayer for Muslims is beautiful.
How did Mandela get the will to surpass the everyday,
When injustice had him caged and trapped in every way,
How did Ghandi ever withstand the hunger strikes and all,
Didn't do it to gain power or money if I recall,
It's to give; I guess I'll pass it on

I'm pagan.
Many Christians are such kind-hearted, genuine people. I can honestly say that I owe a good portion of my sanity to a nun. ^_^ And I have always found comfort in Christian hymns.
They see the love of Christ in all, I see the love of Spirit and the Earth. Really, it's the same goal.
Love this thread. ^_^

I'm mostly atheist, partly agnostic.
I REALLY respect Theraveda Buddhists. I considered myself one once. They are the closest religion to actually being atheists, as they don't believe in a god, and their Eightfold Path is a wonderful set of 'Ten Commandments'. If I had to choose a religion, it would be this one by a long shot.
If at first you don't succeed, try try again. If you still don't succeed, redefine success.

Still Pagan.
I can still (sometimes) be touched by a Catholic homily. Catholic means "universal" for a reason...

Even though I dont believe or agree with Christianity, I still think the peace it brings some people is beautiful.
