This one hit me hard. She was a huge part of my childhood.

wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul
and a vibrant heart for the unknown.

Would you be willing to elaborate on what you were hoping to achieve with this response? I'm assuming by "massive recognition" you mean media coverage (rather than just this thread), which is fairly standard for a celebrity. If you wanted to start a discussion on whether celebrities are overrated or their deaths are overreported it feels like it may have been more appropriate to do so in a separate thread rather than in this one where people are just coming together to remember someone we were familiar with.
