Re: HMPV Virus -

I don't think this will amount to much, the hospitals here in the UK are currently more concerned and inundated with just regular flu/covid due to it being winter and flu and covid cases being higher due to the season (winter). Hospitals here are requiring people visiting the hospitals etc to wear face coverings etc.
I am however not overly concerned about this HMPV virus - The new is mainly focusing on china, because thats where most of the cases are, currently I do not know of one case being in the UK, I think alot of news is just purely scaremongering. Also if it does spread and cause a pandemic I personally don't think that in the UK a lockdown would work or be obeyed in the UK due to how the government here in the UK handled the last pandemic with their parties etc... and how that all became a scandal.
We have to remember that it's winter and cases of flu etc are going to be alot higher due to the time of year etc.
