Not sure why this isn't in News & Debates. Anyways, Jimmy Carter was a nice man but he was very flawed as a president. He did more good after he went back to Georgia, having put his post-presidency work into Habitat for Humanity and other charitable organization. Every president is going to have bad and good things to be remembered about them, like the Iran hostage crisis with Jimmy Carter was a low point of his presidency; but like I said, he did a lot more good once he left the Oval Office in 1981. The polls treated him a lot, lot nicer recently than it did shortly after his administration ended.
I'm glad he didn't have to go so long not being without his beloved Rosalynn. I hope they rest in eternal peace, and their legacy carries on.
