Do you guys think that boycotting a company because of who Bud light wants to do deals with should be a reason to not buy the beer? I don't drink anything but wanted to know what people think about this!
I labeled this bullying from the heat this has got in the last few weeks so if a mod feels differently please feel free to change..
In the greater cosmic scheme of things, does it really matter?

I guess everyone is entitled to do what they want. If someone doesn't want to drink the beer then nobody's forcing them to. I just find it funny because they switch to other beers, and some of those companies are also pro-LGBTQ+. For example, one of my brother in law's relatives switched to Corona, and they are very supportive of their LGBTQ+ employees. I bet if these people did some digging they'd find a lot more everyday product companies that support LGBTQ+ issues.

I don't think these type of boycotts are necessarily a bad thing, but in depends on the person the company associates with. In this instance though, it's not like Bud Lite made a deal with a powerful celebrity who treats people (like their employees, for instance) like garbage. As far as I can tell, this is just a slightly-famous person and conservatives don't like her because she's trans. The backlash is ridiculous, though. On social media, you get people throwing out and shooting their Bud Lites, and there were even bomb threats called in at the Budweiser plant in Van Nuys. All because there is a trans person on a beer can.
Those people need to rethink their lives.

One of the best things that we have in the USA is called freedom. This means that we are always allowed to agree and disagree with others. We will never be punished or killed just like in other countries. There is nothing wrong with being transgender, gay, lesbian, bisexual, ect,
but they shouldn't get special rights. Everyone should be treated equally no matter who they are. If you or someone you know doesn't want to drink Bud Lite anymore then that's up to them.
