Well... 20 years + however many days since August the 6th.
Sometimes we forget just how quickly the world is 'advancing'.
The Internet is a good thing - for the most part. But just like the world it connects - it has 'good' AND 'bad'. [This time - 'bad' really meaning bad!]

How did people live before the internet? Better yet, how did we live before it was widely avaliable? Things like this make me happy to be only 13, because honestly I would be a lot different without the internet. Friends can contact me 24/7, any knowledge at the touch of my fingers, places to share stories and experiences, walkthroughs and how tos on anything from making friends to child birth. The Internet sure is a neat place.

I'm just barely older than the internet.
Overall, I think the 'good' of the internet outweighs the 'bad'. Of course there are going to be some major problems and less-than-nice things going on, but so much of what's been done in the past twenty years in the name of improving people's lives and making our existence more practical is thanks in part to the internet.
