Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I HATE having to bother you multiple times, especially knowing you're on vacation. But, if you had sent me the schedules like you agreed to do, I wouldn't have to. So, it's kind of your own fault. And, yes, if you have to switch my days because I didn't get his to you soon enough, then that's on me. But, how the hell was I supposed to know you were doing it early this week, or that you were leaving again?! I haven't even been on the damn thing for 2 weeks!
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Say whatever negative things about it that you want, and they're all true. But, it means that I really trust you. You might be a hypocrite of the highest order, you might screw me over, and I may not believe a word you say without proof. But, I must know on the most basic level that I can completely lose it in front of you, and nothing bad will happen. It's probably exhausting for you, but it's also why I will never leave.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
The fact that I only get my schedule, and not the whole thing makes me suspicious. But, I know you mostly open, and all of my few shifts are mornings now, so I wonder if that's a coincidence. Or, if it'll suddenly flip; which would also make me paranoid that you're screwing me over..
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Seriously? It's a TWO DAY TRIP, but I have a hunch it's gonna drain me completely...
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Wish you told me you weren't here today, I wouldn't have gone over there.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I'm watching closely and considering my options carefully. Don't think for one second that I will let you jerk me around. Especially with seniority and protection on my side.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I might be a burden to you ( :nosweat: ) but you are a burden to me as well. :)
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
You keep saying, when your youngest graduates, you can leave and go anywhere you want. I mean it when I say that if you leave, I leave. Even if it's years away.
And, I know you're jealous. Now imagine that feeling and having your income cut by 2/3 because it happened, and you'll understand why I'm so mad. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died and rose from the dead to Give us eternal life. If you believe and confess this. He promised us eternal life in heaven.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Personally, I don't think you're doing well enough that you can afford screwing over some of your most loyal and dependable employees, (or take the risk of being accused of discrimination.) But, what the fuck do I know, I'm just living it. Amazing human, bad manager personified.
But, I can see this coming, so I have my next move in mind. Watch it go to him instead. Then I will give up. If you really cared as much as you claim you did, you'd respect me enough to be honest. If you're going to screw me, at least be man enough to admit it to my face! |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I kind of hope you're back in tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I'll be happy to see you, or just want to yell at you.
I see what you're doing, the least you could do is respect me enough to admit it to my face. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I'm sorry you feel that way but I can't help but be so fucking frustrated because that's exactly how I feel about you and you have no idea
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Thank God I have leverage for now, because 90 days in, and you're already trying to screw me over. But, for the record, I ASKED, I didn't TELL you, I made ZERO mention of it, and you'd have nothing to worry about if you just followed the rules in the first place! You don't get to be mad at me for using resources I pay for, to get what I'm entitled to, just because you don't want to give it to me.
I could absolutely see you deciding to switch stores and leave us. And if you do, I leave. I said from the beginning, if you leave, I leave, and I meant it. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to suck. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
If you value family time that much, and I'm not saying you shouldn't, then you're in the wrong business.
STOP complaining to me about your hours. You are full-time, yours are guaranteed, I was given 4, that wasn't even going to be 4, and was LUCKY to get 5. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
When we eventually have the conversation that lays it all on the table, it's going to be VERY interesting. If you weren't as good a person as you are, I'd say you don't deserve me.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
You really irritate me with your flakiness.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
As someone who's had more than his fair share of privileges because the manager is your friend, you don't get to complain about things not being fair.
This is why I said, and will continue to say, I don't want anyone but you touching my schedule. Fair doesn't always mean equal, and the way she's doing it, the only way to get what I need is to get promoted by some miracle so she's FORCED to give me enough. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Are you understanding the part where I'm not available for full-time hours ONLY because I got another job so I could STAY with you, after you told me I would NEVER have full-time hours again? Yet you immediately had them for other people?! Did that register? Because then we're all good; otherwise I call bullshit. You think it's a simple conversation, then you have it, and you take care of me like you have every other time.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Do not shit on people's religious because of comments made by a selected few.
That'd be like me saying that I hate all Muslims because a few made 9/11 happen. I'm educated enough to understand that Islamists do not equate the entire religion. Do the same. Educate yourself just as much as you want others to be educated. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
If you're stringing me along until I'm a neurotypical extrovert, you may as well tell me I'll be promotable when I get taller. I'm not sure you really get that. Also, I think she's doing my review, and I REALLY want you to do it. Because she doesn't know 99% of what happened before she got here, and I think the unrealistic push rests with her.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I've done it for 4 months now, and the only things I've learned is that you still don't know what accommodation or disability means, and I was right about my abilities the whole time. You said I had to do it, and technically I can. But, I may never be leadership material, and it better not be based on that.
You need to talk to them again, because I'm not the only one, and it obviously didn't take. Get your ass back in your own store. WE are your priority, and you need to act like it! |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
It would be great if y'all were more supportive.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I just want it over with, because it's completely pointless, and I know exactly what you're going to say.
I'm amazing, but not promotable, the bad will all be trivial BS, or stuff I ended up being right about; because there wasn't much, but you HAD to put something (but, I'm still not promotable). You'll deny promoting her over me for the millionth time (despite it being BLATANTLY obvious), tell me what I want to hear so you can keep using me on your terms, and we'll be done. And that's if you're even here for it. Chances are you'll still be off pursuing your own advancement over taking care of your own store. The worst part is that I can't tell if my intuition is right, or if I'm just paranoid because I've been through (and spot on about) similar shit so many times. Amazing human and shitty manager. I guess that's better than the other way around, but it makes me both love and hate you at the same time, and I don't like that. It would really help if you owned up to the fact that you screwed me though. An amazing human would give me that much. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I hate it that you won't include me in discussions about me. I hate that you don't see me as a person just because I'm not an adult. Just because I'm not an adult does not mean I am half a person. I have my own mind, my own body, and my own soul. Treat me like you would anyone else. Don't belittle me, if you wouldn't a stranger. Don't hit me, if you wouldn't an adult. Don't hurt me and pretend it's a joke because it's not. I am human too.

Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I shouldn't be looking forward to this, I know better. I'll be miserable, you won't be there, and even if you are, arguing will get me nowhere, and nothing will change.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Y'all don't make me feel welcome at that place. I understand I'm a volunteer, but either give me stuff to do or I can leave. But I don't want to leave because then I'll be shitting around all day like I am today, and that's absolute shit for my mental health. So, please, damn it. Give me stuff to do once this project is complete.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I wish someone would hire me already. Allow me to work at your business, please. I feel like I'm on some sort of secret black-list in this town, and I find that to be incredibly unfair. People are so ignorant of disabilities and debilitating anxiety, as well as other mental health conditions. I have grown as a person; and you need to open your eyes and minds to see that.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
The fact that you gave me shit for narrowly avoiding a meltdown the first day I finally did it and everything went wrong, because it's "Part of the job", and now give me the same shit while refusing to do it yourself, because it's somehow "NOT YOUR job" anymore, is disgusting. And I have NO problem whatsoever pointing that out to the people who promoted you. I will not be condescended to by hypocrites.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Thank you for showing your light today. I hope you continue to rest in peace.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
WE are your priority, and you need to ACT LIKE IT! Next time he calls, it's time to tell him enough is enough, we need and deserve to have OUR manager back.
And if you need him to force that on you, I have ZERO problem telling him this myself. I always hope, but I've given up. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I'm doing amazing because I finally got what I've wanted (and deserved) from day 1, but had to bust my ass for over a year to get. And I care because there's a point. I wasn't going to waste my energy if it wasn't going to pay off, but it did; and I want it to stay that way.
But, I stand by what I keep saying, I need you in your own store. The inconsistency is screwing with me, and the rest of the team is starting to feel it, too. And "hopefully soon" isn't good enough. |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I am not intimidated by you, you will not drive me away.

Want to call somebody in your life out anonymously
This thread is for anybody who is mad at somebody and wants to yell and scream at them...
By the way, I don't know the correct place to put this, so let me know a better spot I will start IF YOU WANT MY HELP, STOP THREATENING ME |
Re: Want to call somebody in your life out anonymously
Hey there, I think this thread is similar. Unless you mean for this to be something different?
|
Re: Want to call somebody in your life out anonymously
Oop, I forgot about that thread...
My bad |
Re: Want to call somebody in your life out anonymously
I’m going to merge this with the send a message thread :)
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
Don't say 6-8 weeks, when it's really 6-8 MONTHS. We need him back, WE are his priority, and he's going to burn out. Not to mention, we'll drown come November if he isn't back by then.
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
It was nice seeing you, you were the only one that treated me decently at that place. :)
|
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
So, they're allowed to vent behind closed doors, and I'm allowed to say something.
Problem with the other night being: I DID say something; and when he said no, I decided to cover my own ass, because they're allowed to vent by blaming and bashing me behind my back. And I'm not sorry for protecting myself, even if it was wrong. I'm also not the only one saying they need to get their shit together, because we need you back ASAP, and this is just a minor part of why. Because let go too long, the team suffers. And you're either having an off day, losing your touch, or losing your patience with me. Maybe I should've just gone with my gut and left you alone because I knew it was a waste of time. But, if it gets your attention partly to where I need it, then maybe it was worth it. I don't know if it's truly a lack of coverage, if I'm right that she needs guidance with the schedule, or it's just one more consequence of you being gone for so long; (or a combination of everything), but we're starting to DROWN, and it's only going to get worse! |
Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.
I am struggling, the team is starting to feel it, we're starting to drown, and you walked out of the conversation! I need you to hear me and DO SOMETHING before this gets any worse. July is going to be a fucking nightmare and everyone knows it. I don't care if you have to cover 2 stores, WE are your priority, and if you don't get some focus back on us, we'll be the next one to FALL APART!
