I am so uncomfortable with this and I can't bear to tell you because I'm too scared but also because just a few days ago I expressed I was fine and excited with it but now I changed my mind and I'm so uncomfortable and genuinely so upset - you're taking my thing and turning it into your own and into something it's not and I feel sick

We come to an understanding, or I talk to your boss. You may be doing fine, but every single member of your team is struggling. And if your continued response to that is to dismiss us, claim everything is fine, and continue in the same way, that's a problem. It's time to step up for us. Circumstances have changed, my team needs me, plans have changed; period.

Here's the problem with that though: Despite what you may think, you are NOT in charge (mostly due to this behavior!) Therefore, I DON'T HAVE to justify to you what I do or don't get done, under circumstances you know NOTHING about, and REFUSE to deal with YOURSELF.

Well, he's gone, you're wrong about everything else you said, and the only one left throwing tantrums after all these changes is you. I don't think the problem is everybody else. I miss her so much and I hate that she has to focus so much of her time on her partner. I really don't have the lived experience or am able to comprehend fully how challenging this can be for someone that recently had this type of surgery and new acceptance of who they are.

The only way you could better set me up to fail, would be to require it before promotion. And, even though you keep saying you don't, you absolutely are. And, I was actually in a good place for 2 days. I knew it had to end eventually.

I can only hope that you'll finally see what I'm talking about and appreciate everything I do. You say it, but I'm not sure you REALLY get it. But, if you don't fully appreciate me now, you might never.

There is NO WAY you could argue that it's fair. It's probably supposed to be, when done right, but that ship sailed long ago. You're going to deal with this; or I'm complaining daily until you do.

Had you not blindsided me, I could've told you that everything you said worked both ways. If they go through with this, you won't have me to blame when your shifts go to hell. So, have fun.
