There are many ways to attract women, and each woman will find different things attractive. You're talking about a "hook", something that can initially get a woman's attention, and therefore lead to her finding you attractive. You can try playing the piano in public if you'd like - it may or may not work, depending on who's around. The important thing to remember is that playing the piano is just a "hook"... that in itself isn't going to lead to a date and/or a relationship.

I think it depends on the girl. Personally, I don't mind. My boyfriend has ADHD so he tends to do this a lot, mostly about videogames or something.

Trying too hard can sometimes make the guy look needy or desperate, which can be off putting to a lot of girls.

They don't. There's a lot of mileage in being reserved and mysterious normally, but opening up with one specific girl. Being emotionally open all the time, on the other hand, will only lose you girls.

Jeff, I have no clue what you're talking about. Some girls are unsure about what they want. But not all girls are confusing. Girls can say the same thing about guys.

It's not about girls or guys being confusing-more like humans being confusing. Everyone gets confused about each other. (If you don't mind me saying) Homosexuals can be confused about their partners or potential partners too, and they date the same gender. So it's not about the opposite gender being confusing, more like the human mind being confusing...

& if you want to figure out the human mind, maybe take a Psychology class? It goes over all those little scientific detials behind human behavior. Maybe it will help, maybe not...

you made me lulzy. Trust me I have taken enough psychology classes to know enough about the human brain and how it works. But still as a guy, girls still confuse the heck outa me. I can fully understand a guy easier then a girl. which isnt saying much because guys are pretty easy to understand.

What confuses you about girls exactly? There's a lot of things that confuse me about both girls and guys. I think the opposite gender always seems more confusing since you can't exactly switch genders with ease and perceive it through their eyes. Maybe some social expectations that each gender goes through that isn't noticed by the opposite gender? With a long list of other possible factors... Blah.

If it was just talking I wouldn't have a problem. Even a bit of flirting. However, if you chose me, I would be less inclined to date if I realised you had been comparing me to someone else, or you had been properly flirting with someone else.

It really all depends on the type of people you're socializing with.
I've Always been quite the outcast, though I do have a large range of friends, and I do attend parties with all sorts of people.*
But personally, I don't particularly find the most sociable guys at school or parties to be enticing.*
Which could be because they're usually the a**holes (from personal experience) of the group.*
I'm an outcast, so I like other outcasts, regardless of my own popularity haha.

Jeff, I believe you know my answer. I like it when a guy is suave/flirty, but I would only date them if they weren't a player or wasn't a jerk. Most of my guy friends are like this though & I wouldn't date any of them.

It depends on how smooth & flirty they are. When it is some witty banter, I love it because well that's the only way I can personally flirt without getting to insecure xD It can be very charming It shows a lot of confidence and truly makes the guy more attracting (my opinion).

It really depends on what he says while being smooth & flirty though. Flattering stuff can be lovely, but if it is something that sounds like "Phrase-*insert random chick's name in here*" then it's kinda eh. I also hate it when guys flirt with any girl in a 10ft radius because although it is nice for girls to be flirted with, it's hard to tell if he is flirting for the sake, flirting to get a lil sumthingsumthing, or trying to play mind games with one girl. So no flirting with friends to make one girl jealous. That's just confusing.

Plus if he flirts with everyone and has no self control-not cool. It's okay to be flirty, as long as it's not 24/7 and he knows how to respect girls while flirting with them.

I really wouldn't care about a girl's being taller than me. As long as she's not very, very much taller than me, I'm not complaining. Wearing heels that make them taller than me - I couldn't really care less.

It really depends on the situation. Could you elaborate, or give scenarios? I think that in some circumstances, it might be beneficial to lie (in a very minor way) if I knew that otherwise she would be worried or hurt unnecessarily, but in many other circumstances I don't feel that lying would be beneficial.

It's a little off-putting, and it can throw off my usual dominance a little. If a girl is borderline I'd prefer her to avoid the heels. But I can think of one or two girls taller than me that I totally would.

Hmm the thing I'm talking about it kinda not a minor lie. Like, if you knew your gf didn't like drugs but you were really into them.. Would you lie and tell her that you didn't do them/you quit just to make her happy? OR would you leave her because you don't wanna change, that's what you like, and you're not gonna let a girl get in the way of that?

With that kind of situation it really all depends on how much I like her and would do anything to make her happy. If its someone I'm really into I'd try my best to stop or at least cut back to an amount we both could agree on. But if its a girl I'm not really into I'd probably just leave her. That's just me though.
