Why Me? Here is a safe space to let it all out, where you can rant about all the bad things life throws your way. Sometimes it just helps to ask "why me?"

Overwhelmed. -

This week, I have never felt so emotionally, mentally and physically tired in a very long time. If ever. A particular staff member who has recently started is making it difficult for those around her to work and it's beginning to effect me more then it should as I have to work along side her at some points during the day. Management offers no support even after numerous attempts to bring concerns to their attention.
With work and other factors such as working full-time, studying and this lockdown is beginning to effect me and I feel like I'm slowly drowning.

Hello,
I am so sorry that you are having a hard time with all of this right now and I hope that you will be okay soon. When we are working so much, we also have to study and we are in the lockdown, it can be hard to be okay with everything that is happening to you. When you have time try to find something to help you get your mind off of this for a while, for example going for a walk around your house if you can or reading a book for a while or drawing something or painting or writing or putting on a funny movie or TV show or calling a friend or family member or baking cookies or finding something else that you enjoy doing and try that for a while. Hopefully it can help you to feel a little bit better.
Would you be able to try talking with your friends or family about what you are going through? You can talk about what you are feeling and sometimes when we are having a hard time, it can be nice and helpful to talk about what we are going through. I hope you will be okay soon.

I am so sorry to hear that you are so overwhelmed right now. One coworker can definitely ruin the morale of the people around them. It's not your fault that you're feeling overwhelmed by the actions of your coworker, and I hope that management eventually sees your concerns and takes action. Maybe they have to see it for themselves.
I can't even imagine the tremendous toll the lockdown is taking on people's mental health where there are still more strict guidelines in place. <3 You can get through this.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive

I know that feeling. There's always that one staff member who comes on board and just ruins the entire flow of the workplace. It really destroys the mood and atmosphere as well.
Have you considered talking to the staff member about their behaviour? Maybe they're not aware, or at least fully aware, of how they're behaving and may need some extra direction to help them out.
You could also consider taking the situation higher than the management officers, given that they don't provide any support. If they're not being supportive, they're not doing their job either, and it's definitely worth bringing to the attention of someone higher than themselves.

This particular staff member was aware of one of the mistakes she made but I believe she is aware of her behaviour but continues to act the way she does. I feel like I am on eggshells when I am with her.
