Re: Recovery Support and Achievements!

I haven't forced myself to throw up in a week though it feels a lot longer, that's the longest i've gone without it in months. Not sure if I'll keep going much longer, I kinda miss it but I'll try anyway.

Today for the first time in a long time I didn't let the number on the scale dictate my mood for the day.

I've managed two days in a row without skipping a meal. :)

Even when I've gained weight, I've managed to keep myself from purging.
Now, it's just restricting that I need to work on..

Had my 1st normal breakfast this morning. Pancakes. It was good but I don't know how I feel about this. I have mixed feelings.

I managed to eat my afternoon snack without crying and shaking for the first time in ages. Probably helped that I was distracted by TH ;D

Instead of scratching and clawing my stomach last night, I got colored pens and I drew all over it. I drew butterflies and stars, and my favorite song lyrics. Now when I look at my stomach, I don't start panicking and freaking out- I see the pictures, and it reminds me of happy things :)

Instead of being alone in my moment of weakness, I talked to a very sweet young man who walked me through my moment.

And guess what! :hehe: He still thinks I'm beautiful even not as a size (edited)! :happydance:

I haven't thrown up in 4 days! I've also eaten 7 out of 12 meals in the past 4 days. I only finished 3 of them, but still. It's a start.

I've been eating normally. I'm not real sure I like it... but it's a start, right? :D

Re: Recovery Support and Achievements!

I ate lunch and dinner today, granted only dinner stayed in my system but it's a start.

At lunch I went to the bathroom to purge twice. When I came back the first time, a guy at my table gave me a concerned look. When I came back the second time, how he looked at me told me he has a good idea of what just happened. I'd normally be freaking out, but I don't care right now. I figure by convincing people I'm okay is just prolonging what is inevitable, I mean, like yes I'm scared and I'm going to be shaking if I get called down to the guidance office in the next week or so, but I know I can't hide this forever. And I'm thinking about telling my friend Cyrus who can somehow figure out if I'm upset through a text message. >_<

Three meals today.
Even if they were small, I deserve a medal. :nosweat:

Re: Recovery Support and Achievements!

I don't want to be sick forever, no. The calorie content of foods and my weight will not influence my life, will not dictate my feelings. Eating is something everyone has to do, and it's time I learned that and stop this before we reach the 3 year mark.

Coffee. April 24th 2012 07:58 AM

Re: Recovery Support and Achievements!

Three meals again...and a snack...and I swear I won't purge the last one.
I can do this.

I ate lunch today . . . yes, I admit it was a very small lunch, but it was still lunch. Which is a start.
