I found an outpatient program in my area that will allow me to not compromise my beliefs on the road o recovery . They're gonna let me remain a vegan through it all!!!

I haven't purged in 4 months and i feel good for not giving in to the recent urges I have had. I will not break this good streak.
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice. Cut free since March 6th 2013 Purge free since March 8th 2013

I completely missed this date, but Monday was my 6 month anniversary of reaching out for help. Since then I've been eating a solid meal everyday (at least), keeping them down 100% of the time. Of course everyone has their bad days, but I've never purged since. Never felt better. This week is also my two years anniversary of being vegan, lol just random fact.
So excited

Congrats, Brody! Many people do not believe plant-based lifestyles and recovery can be combined, but for many, they can help drastically keep us healthy and happy! I've been a vegetarian for now two years, and my behaviors have lowered a lot since.

Thank you! It's true, while focused on plant based eating, the recipes you learn make you feel healthier than normal. It does help, or it did for me anyway.

It's been 2 days that I haven't binged. I stuck to a meal plan (I had an extra snack, but let's ignore that) I happened to be horribly triggered today, but I did not turn to food. Looks like a great good bye to 2014. And this is the first time I am actually posting about my ED without feeling sick or disgusted about myself, so more points for me.
Also, you guys are doing great. <3

I almost purged the other day, but I stopped myself.
