Happy Equinox!

In a couple days, the Sun will move south of the Celestial Equator. This marks the autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and spring in the Southern Hemisphere. What is your favorite thing about late September and the months of October, November, and the first few weeks of December? Do you have any traditions you enjoy doing during this time of year?

In the Northern Hemisphere, when does the foliage begin for you? What are some popular seasonal beverages?

In the Southern Hemisphere, when do the trees and flowers begin to bloom? Do you have any spring festivities?

Also, a general question, does anyone feel like 2022 is just speeding by? We're more than a quarter way through the decade! D:

My favorite thing about October is Halloween, and then there’s Thanksgiving in November!

Foliage starts to change sometime in October. I’ve never really kept track of when.

2022 has flown by! It’s like it should still be March.

I love celebrating Halloween in October. About autumn in general I like coziness, rainy weather (or sunny weather! With a clear blue sky, crisp air and wet colourful leaves glistening in the sun), seasonal drinks (coffees and teas).

I love to come up with the best decorations for Halloween with my parents and sister's. October is one of my favorite months because of the weather, I get to see the trees change and Halloween, I love it so much. :)

There is no tradition that I personally do.

I was thinking the same thing! I can't believe it's September already.
