How do you state the year, both verbally and in writing?
For me, I've been writing the year with the century since the 1999-2000 school year. So, I'd write today as July 10(th), 2022.
The way I pronounce the year varies. In the 2010s, I continued to say "two thousand and ..." but since 2020, I say "twenty ..." instead. So for the date I'd say July tenth twenty twenty-two. But I feel it's more natural to say the century in the decadence years — 2030, 2040, 2050, etc.

In fact, my correct state of date is "10 luglio 2022" or "10/07/2022" but honestly doesn't make difference for me if I change the order of the month/day.
