Soaking your feet - October 8th 2021, 07:58 PM

I decided to put this thread here because it's related to methods of relaxation

After a day of walking or other physical activity, your feet may need a bit of rest. A great way to do that is soak them in hot water. You can add different ingredients into the water, such as Epsom salt, soap, coconut oil, shea butter or whatever else you may need.
Do you soak your feet from time to time?

I do mine here and there. When I do soak them, I give them a bit of a pampering because I tend to neglect them.

I'll soak them in a foot bowl with a handful of epsom salts for about 10-15 minutes. Then use a foot scraper and pumice stone to get rid of any hard/dead skin build up. Clip my nails and make them all nice. Then massage my feet with some nice soothing mint foot lotion.

I'm always wearing socks, unless I am in the shower, so foot care is not something I'm particularly interested in.

Not currently, but a good idea to consider. I am unsure what is suggested for diabetics, but am sure it's OK. I have a remote job, so don't stand for a long shift or anything. I am sure this feels good on the feet.
