I'm happy today because...

I made it through my day

I finished my book and got a lot of sleep last night.

Got to relax all day, recover, and watch a couple of my shows.

I ended up having a good Sunday and it's made the start to my Monday better

I bought four new books and one of them is so pretty and I'm obsessed with it

Got a whole bunch of chores done.

It's Wednesday which means we are at the half way point till the weekend.

I'm meeting a friend today

It's one day closer to the weekend.

I finally renewed my ID (huge pain, but I'm good for 4 years) and picked up my new glasses and realized that this week is my normal amount of hours with hopefully holiday pay

It's Thursday which means we are really close to Friday!

One more day and then I'm off for a whole. week.

Nine days off. Grand.

Curled up on the couch with my cat and my dog watching the latest Rocket League stream. This year's been awful but at least there are still some moments of relative peace.

This Monday hasn't been that bad and a job posting opened up that I'm excited for.

I've been spoilt by my friends today, got a beautiful new bracelet and scarf and also some games. I'm very lucky.

I've been offered an interview for a masters course

I got a decent amount of studying done and am going to take a break for a while. I might take a break until I finish this audio book but it depends how much is left at 6

Dealing with medication refills was more complicated than it needed to be, but after putting it off for 2 weeks, it's handled unless they have questions.

Super productive day and I am happy that the weather was so nice for once!

The job posting closes today and it's one step closer to moving forward in the interview process

I'm starting next week with my internship! A little late, but rather late than never.

It's almost Friday

I got to sit in the sun at volunteering today and it was a really nice morning.

Medication stuff is handled and I have an appointment with a new closer specialist and it sounds like he's amazing and perfect for what I need, but it's not for almost 3 months

It's Thursday which means I get paid tonight and it's one day closer to the weekend

It looks like summer is finally on its way, and that makes me happy.

My uni interview seemed to go well so I may have a place in September!

Short shifts this weekend and holiday pay despite having the holiday off.

I am trying on some wedding dresses

I got 20 hours of over time last week and got holiday pay today for a solid 8 hours. So I decided, since I have this extra money, to buy myself a new pair of Bose headphones that should be here a day before my surgery

Got through the long weekend (mostly) emotionally and mentally intact.

I was lying on the couch earlier and nonsense talking to my cat. At one point I was patting his face fluff and told him "I diagnose you with cat" and he reached out and put his paw on my arm with a solemn squeak. It was adorable and I'm at least 87% sure he understood what I was saying.
