I'm happy today because...

I am going to try and decorate my tree. I already put it up but don't have the lights or ornaments on it.

Our house is decorated, well the outside is at least. The company came today when I was out and I came home and they’ve decorated our front lawn and the outside as well as put up all the lights. We have someone coming tomorrow to decorate and put up our trees inside.

The bridge is done!!!!!

It only took 4 months longer than originally planned and we were told. But ITS DONE!

A book I have been wanting for quite a few months came in the mail today! I was finally able to get some extra money to make the purchase.

I'm taking positive steps even though it isn't always easy, and I finally feel like I'm actually getting somewhere.

A black Friday sale that I have been waiting for since January and have been saving for since than...is approaching. It's about an hour and 15 minutes away.

Yes, I am going to spend a decent amount but I will save 30% ... and that's 30% off already heavily discounted items.

The store is great. They also have an option to get something cheaper if it is a bit messed up. I have done that once or twice and while it makes me a tad nervous. The books never come in terrible condition.

Go me!

This is probably the only good thing that will happen today.

The antibiotics are working! I feel halfway decent today.

Now, if only I had my voice back.

A total of 4000 words completed in just a few days. Such a relief and I'm glad it's finally over, just like this week near enough!

The birthday gift I got from my aunt will be coming today at some point.
Also, was able to find really cute gifts for my boyfriend's nieces (6 year old twins )

The last minute Christmas gifts I ordered arrived a bit earlier than expected.

Only have two more that will be here Tuesday.

I finally managed to buy something that I've wanted for months. They only recently started being sold here and it's a blind bag thing so I was a little skeptical, but I managed to get the one I wanted on my first try so I'm happy.

I also found out what next month's book club pick is and I get to pick my own. I know the perfect books!

because i actually did an exam i felt confident about (i was sure i'd done well when it was over)

I am not struggling with anxiety as badly as I normally do when don't sleep.

Last of the packages arrived

The tracking on my packages update and I now have an estimated delivery date! Next Monday is going to be an AMAZING day!

My best friend is FINALLY moving out after living rent-free at my place for the last three months.

I received my birthday present from my dad.
I also got approved to take another test in the next few months.

Been hanging out with my dad most of the day. He's a bit more compassionate and understanding for once.

Got out of jury duty early!!!!

Was able to get the gift I wanted for my dad and his partner.
Also, was able to make a purchase for a young girl who wanted books for Christmas. I hope I got her books she will enjoy.

The snow is back!

The snow is back and I have it on MEGA Christmas!
I was able to get some delicious Thai food.
I was able to purchase a book I have been wanting to read most of the year!

I (finally) had my 90 day review at work and when these authority figures say everything is fine, they mean it. No negative, everything is great for how long I've been there, and if I can improve a few things to "exceeds expectations", I'll be eligible for a raise in February.

I was able to take a nap since I didn't sleep well. Now, I am going to be reading some of my book!

My therapist is letting me see her weekly again and pay when I can. I freakin cried.

I'm happy today because it's Sunday! We had a lovely evening playing some family games together, and now I'm settling down with a good movie and a nice glass of wine.

I'm feeling really supported and a lot of fun things have happened today and overall I'm just feeling kind of content for once.

Friends visited and I made dinner and not only did I get to eat with people I like, they also praised my cooking a lot and were really happy when I ofered them to take some of the left overs with them

I was able to schedule the job interview

I ordered a few more bookmarks since I have an obsession with them and I had the money!

After Saturday I go down to 5 hour shifts again, and in 2 weeks I actually get a SUNDAY OFF, my first weekend day off since I started this job and then I also get off the day my appointment got changed to, so I'll finally get to go.
