Had kind of a sudden idea for my mom's birthday/ a getaway for her to get a break from grandma and she decided she liked it, so Armstrong Air and Space Museum on her birthday it is. And we might run into Buzz Aldrin (but probably not)

I decided to treat myself and order a book that I've been eyeing for a while now.
What book?
As for me, I started Eliza and Her Monsters early this morning (I couldn't sleep) and was able to get 45% through in such a short time. I am absolutely loving the book and can relate to Eliza in quite a number of ways which doesn't usually happen.
Also, my boyfriend didn't have to go to class today so we are planning on going to the used bookstore in town. There is a book I am trying to get used instead of paying full price for it.
Today is great because I just feel happy! Maybe I am useful and not stupid
You're definitely not stupid!
I'm happy because there's a new Imagine Dragons song out, and also because I'm going to my friends parents for dinner tonight, and her dad referred to me as family the other day
Jumping into different math problems wasn't helping me learn, so now that I started from the beginning and am taking it step by step towards the more difficult math, I'm actually learning things... as crazy as that sounds.

I found four books for sale at a library in town. One of them is a book I'd heard about a long while ago. The other one is one I've been eyeing but haven't wanted to buy. The other two were just because books. But one of them was a Zadie Smith novel in relatively good condition and she is actually a pretty popular author.

I transferred from my old school, which gave me a 300 dollar scholarship for academic achievement, to a vastly better school, which costs the same but gave me a 4000 dollar grant for no reason. Now they're just making tuition free for me!

That's awesome! Congrats! I hope you enjoy the new school as well. I think being on a campus you enjoy actually helps make school better.
As for me, I went to two goodwill stores, one thrift store and a library and found 12 books and only spent $17. Now, I need to stop buying books. I will be purchasing books in August at the huge book sale the library throws. I will also buy books if my aunt sends me another amazon gift card but nothing else....I have two or three books that I have pre-ordered ... so that's probably all I'll be getting for a while.
I'm happy today because it's no only Sunday (my favorite day of the week) but it's also Father's day, and Jordan didn't work today, so we've spent the entire day with him, and it has been amazing for all of us.

I'm happy today because it's raining. I've been looking forward to some rain for ages now, and I'm super excited I'm finally getting what I want. (I wouldn't even care if it rained for the rest of the week, but I know that isn't going to happen.)

The treatment I'm using to fade my self-harm scars is working well on the most recent scars. Seeing my scars every day has always been triggering for me, and watching them fade is reminding me that I don't want any new scars lining my legs.
My dad gave me a little bit of money to do whatever I want with. Think I might check the used bookstore for some books I have ebook copy of but are relatively lengthy and would prefer a physical copy.
