New job
On Monday, I start a new job - one which I have been waiting for, for a very long time. I am beyond excited for what it's store but also very nervous.
Any tips on how to help with new job nervousness? :D |
Re: New job
Congratulations on your new job! I bet you'll do great.
Ask questions whenever you need to, especially when you are first starting out. As the saying goes, "there's no such thing as a stupid question." |
Re: New job
Congratulations on your new job! You're going to be fantastic at it.
When starting a new job, one of the most important things you can do is ask questions. Employers would typically rather answer the same question multiple times than go back and fix mistakes because an employee didn't seek clarification. When in doubt, ask questions! Since you're feeling a bit of nervousness about starting the job, you may want to try repeating positive affirmations to yourself. These could include specifics, such as reminding yourself of the qualifications you have that earned you the job, or you can use broader affirmations such as "I am capable" and "I am a great employee". By making those positive thoughts a part of your everyday practice, you can ensure that you are going into work with the right mindset every day! |

Congratulations on your new job. I wish you the best with this and I hope that you enjoy this job. Always ask questions when you are not sure about something and have fun with this. :)
