How have you practiced GLAD today?
GLAD is a technique used to help find the positive things in your life and practice gratitude. Each letter in GLAD is a different part of the technique.
Gratitude - What are you thankful for today? Learned - What is one thing you learned today, whether about yourself/someone else, a new fact, or something else. Accomplishment - What is one thing you've accomplished today? It can even be just getting out of bed. Delight - What is one thing that made you feel joy today? I'll start. Gratitude - I am thankful that my neighbor took my dad to pick me up from IOP today. Learned - I learned that there's a term called "food mirage" for areas where nutritious food/grocery stores are available, but there is no way of affording it. Accomplished - I finished my work calls without getting too anxious. Delight - My parents bought Wendy's and I had a Frosty. |

Gratitude - I am thankful for having a roof over my head and having a loving family.
Learned - Some new facts about COVID-19. Accomplishment - I was able to accomplish some time for myself. My schedule has been crazy over the last couple of weeks. Delight - Spending time with my family. |

Gratitude - I was able to spend time with my friend, I have enough money to eat outside.
Learned - how my home city had changed during my absence. Accomplishment - leaving the apartment and meeting my friend. Delight - eating chips and drinking tea. |

Gratitude - My mom cooks me dinner.
Learned - There's a farm near me that offers therapy farm animals. Accomplished - I colored a full picture. Delight - Playing Rocket League on my Switch. |

Gratitude: I'm grateful for being where I am right now.
Learned: a social care fact. Accomplished: I made lunch for tomorrow and breakfast for the week so I don't have to spend money every day. Delight: News about Doctor Who! |

L - There is an additional step in the stages of change model called skill drills that comes between precontemplation and contemplation in safety programs. A - Doing my report for work. D - Coffee from Dunkin! |
