I feel loved and accepted here
I'm really glad I found this site as even though at first I didnt expect myself to be here long, I was so welcomed and accepted that I couldn't really leave. Every time I get a notification and see it's someone being kind or just caring that I'm around or celebrating my small achievements, it makes me feel like I'm validated. And that's saying something, because I know past me would have been like "ewww socialising??? on a website??? About my feelings??? cringe...i bet that doesnt help" but I guess how I feel about certain things changes :P Anyway what I'm trying to say is I appreciate this place, it gives me an outlet to talk about how I feel without being too worried about upsetting people yknow?

I am so glad that you feel accepted! Sometimes having someone to celebrate the small victories with can make a whole world of difference and even help you on the road to your next achievement! I hope you continue to enjoy it here <3

I'm really glad to see that you feel that way Soda! I think that's one of the things I like about the site too. The forum culture is so nice and relaxed. :)

I'm glad you feel like this. It's the exact same reason I've stuck around for so long too. I feel like TeenHelp is the sort of place you don't come across very often as everyone here is so accepting and kind. Everyone is really glad you're here too. :hug:

I'm really happy that you feel like TeenHelp provides the support and connection you're looking for! This is legit a one-of-a-kind place on the Internet. I totally get not wanting to reach out in the past, because you see all those faux support pages and groups on social media — they can be more harmful than helpful! — so that would definitely scare you away.
Message boards, like the platform TeenHelp members use to interact with others, might be antiquated but it provides the sort of intimacy that the social media hype will never live up to. I hope you stick around and if you want, one day, you can apply to become a staff volunteer. :) I hope you are feeling better today. Always feel free to reach out on the forums and utilize the blogs if needed. |

It's good that TeenHelp gives you an outlet to talk about things-you deserve support and validation just as much as anyone else in the world. I'm glad that you feel loved and accepted here and hope that you continue to do so :hug:
