Tattoos and Piercings This forum is to ask questions and discuss tattoos, piercings and other aesthetic body modifications.
so i got my first tattoo a couple weeks ago on the inside of my wrist. and i love it! ive always wanted to get a line of stars curving from my left hip, up and around to my left shoulder blade. like i have the design and everything. i decided to change the design when i realised it would stretch if i eventually have kids. so i switched it up from the side of the hip and up my back. but after getting the one on my wrist im not so sure im gonna b able to handle it on my ribs for that long. any ideas of where else i could get it, mayb less painfully???
Any bony area will be painful. My wrist tattoo was actually my least painful tattoo. I take it you don't have a very high pain tolerance so no matter where you get it, it will be painful.
Either the thought of the pain will shy you away from getting one or your gonna just have to suck it up and deal with it. I have four and it hurts but I just have to get passed the pain. Not to mention you can always ask for a little break when the pain hurts. And don't think that a tattoo of that size will be done in one session unless your just actually getting outlined stars but if your getting them filled it will probably take two sessions.
It's always gunna be painful. I think its good that its painful, it means that you won't get something unless you really want it, because you won't sit through the pain for the sake of a quick idea
