Does Anyone Draw Their Own Tattoo Designs? -
May 9th 2010, 02:25 PM
I was just wondering if anyone here did tattoo designs even if they don't get the tattoos themselves. I love looking at tattoo pictures and designs even though I probably won't get any of the designs I look at
If you do, post some pictures, I especially like wolf designs

I drew a design for my future tattoo but it got lost when I got my new laptop, it may still be on the hard drive of my old laptop so I will have to go hunting for it...
EDIT: Found it !
I drew this about 2 years ago.I am terrible at all types of art so it isn't a great drawing and I am sure a tattoo artist could fix it up for me and make it look amazing.
It is as a memorial tattoo for my Nan and Grandad. My Nan's name means "Peace" and my Grandad's name means Graceful, so that is where the dove comes from. The ribbon in the background is orange as my Grandad suffers from Multiple Myloma which is a form of Leukaemia and an orange ribbon is what represents that.
I am going to get my Nan and Grandads names inside the ribbon too.
I am not sure on the ribbon colour now as orange is also the colour for self harm and I don't want people to associate it with that. In America it is burgundy but I am not American so that is out. Lavender is associated with cancer in general so that is a possibility, still unsure though.

My husband drew one of mine:
It's a cover up tat not completely finished in that photo which is why you can see some pink/blue under the black ink.
And he drew his:
