Where's the best place to get a tattoo? - September 6th 2009, 11:43 PM

I don't know if theres a thread about this already

But where is it least painful to get a tattoo? any ideas? I was planning on getting a small one but I'm not sure on where to get it. I was going to go with either my wrist or between my thumb and finger.

All depends where you want it and the size. Placement sometimes depends on the size of the design you're getting tattooed on you. The more boney places on the body are suppose to hurt worse, but I have one over the bone (on the shoulder going over the shoulder blade.) and I felt that didn't hurt but when the needle was going over the thicker part (meaty) on my back it pinched. All depends on your pain tolerance. I went in with the mind set that I was going to cry and that it would hurt like hell, so that way I was preparing for the worse, but that's just me. Anyways this is something you want on you FOREVER don't try to weasel out of pain, the 30-45 mins of pain is worth the effect that you'll hold on to this for the rest of your life. Also think about in the future will your job allow you to have visible tattoos. Best of Luck!!
