first tattoo

Have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while and now im 18 can actually go get one. Think im going with my friend at the beginning of august after her birthday just need to organise it.

Want one on my hip/side probly and pretty sure i just want some stars maybe with my ponys name in one as he means the world to me and has helped me through so much the past 3years and wouldnt be who or where i am today without him, know that maybe sounds weird as he's a animal but cant explain what he means to me.

Also want one one like the inside of my wrist a name of someone who means a hell of a lot to me love them to bits and have been a huge part of my life the past year and no one has ever meant this much to me, but dont want it in english as dont want people knowing as some wont approve.

So just wondered if anyone has any suggestions of symbols or something i could have the name done in wanted something like chinese type but they dont have a normal alphabet so wont really work.

Also any experience with the pain involved in tattooing these places even though i know its different for everyone.

I got my first (and only) tattoo there, and it hurt pretty bad. The vibrations also made it tickle in a weird way so i kind of moved around a bit (which caused a few errors on the tat). My sugestion would to be taking short breaks every now and then.

Also, your tat ideas sound really cute!
