That guy's english/french would have to be really bad to mistake 3 for 56. Also, three stars would not be enough time to fall asleep in, she would have had them done, and been outta there.

I think she's wanting publicity then sue him, not the other way round. Yes I agree though, she is just showing off what she's done.

She's probably the one who's done wrong and now she's trying to give someone else the blame for her mistake. I mean how could you fall asleep during a tattoo on your face because it has to hurt a fair bit and plus, it's only 3 little stars so it's not like she'd have been sat there for hours while he did it, probably about half an hour tops and another thing is, if he did do it on purpose knowing she said only 3 little stars, why do it like that in such an obvious place when you know you run the risk of getting sued and/or losing your job? You wouldn't.

she's an idiot. He is offering to pay for half the treatment anyway, she should just take the offer and drop it. She won't win in court, the guy as a witness who'll confirm his story. She, however, does not. She also does not have a believe story. Tattoes hurt. I haven't had any, but I know plenty who have. You would not sleep through that sort of pain. The guy gets no benefit from giving her 53 extra stars. In fact, tattooists rely a lot on customers' word of mouth to their friends to get business. Friends do direct people to places they've had good experience. Tattoists also are generally quite regulated, you wouldn't risk your job on doing 53 extra tattoos, nor would you tattoo a sleeping individual. Not to mention, facial muscles are far more relaxed when you are asleep, and I'd guess it'd interfere with the tattooing, even if she were asleep. On top of that, tattooist, and particularly judging from his experience, I'll assume this applies to him, consider tattoos and piercings a form of art and expression, and would therefore want the walking canvas to like it, as it'd add to the art.
Also, as he is offering to pay, even though he probably wouldn't lose the case suggests he's a nice guy, and dedicated to his profession.

I find the girl to be a liar. First, getting a tattoo is something you'd physically feel, so getting tattoos on your face I'd imagine you would feel also. How would you not feel all those tattoos happening without ever once opening your eyes?
The tattoo artist's story was apparently confirmed by a witness, whereas the girl only is clinging to her word. She got the tattoos on her face (hell only knows what would possess someone to do that) and her father and boyfriend got angry, then she went and started this fuss.
I was a bit surprised to read that the tattoo artist agreed to pay for some of the removal of the tattoos. Why she continues with this is beyond me. He has at least one witness, she has nothing other than her word. I cant see her winning this court case, she might as well drop the charges and just let the tattoo artist pay for half the treatment. Pursuing the case won't get her anywhere, it may even result in her having to pay for all of it.

I was reading the comments after the article and they are all saying the same things. The one I thought was the most logical was the person who said that she should have just held up three fingers if she wanted three stars, the girl is a liar. And trois sounds nothing like cinquante six.

Secondly, that girl has got to be lying. She probably only blamed that guy because he can't speak English well. Poor tattooist guy.

Just because you percieve someone looking like a freak doesn't mean they are an idoit. The guy's job is tattooing, his personal body mods aren't going to stop him doing his job. A lot of body artists have excessive body mods.

Wow. It amazes me how many people sue over stupid things. How can you confuse trois and cinquante-six? You can't, even if your french is broken! How in the world does she think she's going to win this? And what possed her to get those in the first place? Her face isn't exactly pretty but it's not ugly either. Adding those stars just makes her look awful.

... You would fall asleep for 56 stars... Plus, don't you pay beforehand? Therefore it would be wasting the artists time for no extra money to do all the extra stars.
Personally, for such a silly request, I think it looks super cool. Not that I'd want it, and I'd laugh if I saw her in the store, but y'know...

sucks for the girl that either way her face will be scarred for life; tattoos or scarred white marks from laser treatment.
but clearly, three fingers = three stars. trois, tres, and THREE. ah. duhh.
definately her fault!

that's pretty ridiculous. and exactly the reason i don't think tattoos on your face are a good idea. like the article says even after the laser treatment there will still be marks. The tatto artist and a witnesssay she asked for it. it's her own fault.

you can't say "not just in appearance" and then say "just look at both the people."
he does look like a freak though, but then again most tattoo artists do in my opinion, especially the ones covered head to toe.
