I accidentally laid on my tattoo

Is it spelt layed or laid ? Sorry for any confusion I was laying in bed and sleeping and I turned over on my arm not sure for how long would this damage it ?

No, it's fine. You can lay on it all you want just don't scratch it until it's healed or get it more wet than you would in the shower.

Fun fact: it's actually "lay". You lay on it, while you were lying in bed. :p Anyway. Like Nicole said, that shouldn't do much damage unless you're a spectacularly restless sleeper and/or were scratching it in your sleep. Just lying on it won't do any damage. :)

Hey Justin,

Chances are you haven't done any damage to your tattoo. The only time you'll damage it is if you scratch it or pick it.
I'm sure it's absolutely fine, but if you do get concerned about anything then it could be a good idea to go back to your tattooist or to a doctor.
