Pride tattoo -
September 1st 2015, 09:31 PM
I'm turning 18 in roughly 9 months (still a long way off but still) and can legally get tattooed. I'm already planning what I'm going to get and have decided on a black rose tattoo on my left shoulder blade and a pride one on my right shoulder blade.
Now here comes my question; should I get the generic rainbow, bisexuality or pansexuality (I use both to describe myself, long story) pride flags; any help or suggestions?
I know that you may want a definitive answer on what you should get tattooed, but remember that this is what is going to be on your body for the rest of your life. While we can give suggestions or say which idea we like best, ultimately this is going to be what you are getting, so make sure it is what you are the happiest with.
Which do you identify with the most? Maybe that'll help.
You don't have to get an actual FLAG tattooed on you either. You can use the colors in another design as well, such as a heart, star, animal, anything really.

I like the idea of taking the color scheme of what you identify with the most and designing your own tattoo with it, or meet with a tattoo artist and see if they can come up with a tattoo with the pride colors you want. Or I like hiding the symbols in something else. But it's up to you.
Whatever you choose it sounds like it's going to be awesome! Go with what you think is best as it will be on your body. I have an LGBT rainbow paint splatter with the quality symbol in the middle, so it looks like I have paint running down me, it's awesome. I love the idea of pride tattoos

When I thought about this, i thought of a butterfly, with the wings having the colours of the flags incorporated. Ie; (this was just found on internet and coloured in by yours truly, but you get the gist haha)
