I have a tattoo of a lotus flower on my back to symbolise some time I spent in India because there were many lotus flowers in one of the centres I visited and it is a common India symbol.
But now I want to add to it the word 'Shradhanjali' which translates as "offering one's best" but it has a much deeper meaning for me.
I spent some time in a school, it's name was shradhanjali. It was the most amazing time of my life and one I will never forget.
It's really personal to me so I was origionaly thinking about getting it in a really personal space like my inner thigh or hip or something like that. Because the lotus flower is a beautiful image and symbol on it's own, I don't know if the writing should go with the flower, since it might detract from the symbolism of it.
But then I feel that they should be together!
Oh I don't know!
Basically, I would like to know if you think having that word curled around the top of the flower in a semi circle would look nice or would it detract from the symbolism of the flower and therefore better off in a different palce?
Sorry for the complicated beginning!
