outlook wont load on my Mac book air ?

okay so basically I can get everything to load on my Mac book air but outlook itself, it just wont load and im not sure what the issue actually is as I can get it to load on both my tablets which are both android and not apple, but outlook will load on my iPhone which is apple, I dont know why or understand why it wont load, it just wont do it, ive tried like numerous times and it just doesn't want to know... it just doesn't load, I get a blue loading bar but that's it. I dont know if its because of something with my Mac book which there like really shouldn't be as ive only just like got it back from like 450 pounds worth of repairs.... so im not really sure.... could it be my Mac book needs to update? but if that's the case why does it load on my iPhone ? this is my first Mac book and ive had it less than a year...
