Music remixes with approx. 128 bpm
In the event that the Welsh lockdown isn't extended after the 18th January and gyms are allowed to reopen, I want to work on a new playlist for when I teach my group exercise classes. I was wondering if anyone can here assist in suggesting some songs that may be suitable?
There are some rules that I have to abide by or I can't play them. 1. They must be unlicensed. 2. Can be remixes of songs providing it's not copyrighted. 3. Needs to be upbeat music with a good pace. Around 128 beats per minute is good. 4. Can't contain violence, or a sexual tone. 5. Bad language must be kept to a minimum. 6. No longer than 5 minutes. I'd prefer song that aren't heavy metal, trance, rap, R&B, dubstep, classical... you get the idea. Natalia Kills - Wonderland, for example, would be a great song, only it's licensed. Otherwise I'd be able to use it. There are some remixes of that song, but I can't really choreograph music to a song that's not remixed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSjophjlnX4 This sort of remix would be ok: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2v0PU8nngw I suppose it's to personal tastes as the remix isn't too bad as it has great pace... but there's some parts I'm not too keen on. A good remixed song is one like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCVR8OzpEuA Even if it's a song that isn't yet remixed but pretty much covers the above rules... please suggest it anyway. At least then I could look into some potential copyright-free remixes. I know this is an awkward request and I don't expect much but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. :) |
Re: Music remixes with approx. 128 bpm
The only one I know using 128 bpm is Kevin MacLeod's Exit the Premises under Creative Commons Attribution licence.

Re: Music remixes with approx. 128 bpm
Thank you. :)
It doesn't have to be 128 bpm. It's just the best sort of music pace for the class and easier to choreograph around. Songs that have been licensed though have been remade into copyright-free remixes are great as well. Ones that are around 132-140 bpm I tend to use for cycle classes. They're great when doing sprints with the class. :D |
