I love how Fabio went to the press to criticise John Terry going to the press.

to be fair Terry shouldn't have held a press conference in the first place, meh. i hope England win tomorrow or it'll be beyond embarrassing. what a waste of money..

Lol, when that goal (Donovan's) scored, I was freaking out! It was such a great game. All I can say is hats off to Algeria (though they seemed to not even try to win the game most of the time). And ANOTHER phantom call xD

I can officially forgive Koubilaly for the phantom foul in the box. It didn't actually affect the overall standings. We still ended up first place in the group, so oh well

Maybe they'll play better if they're against a better team?

Like Algeria, USA and Slovenia aren't exactly known for being the best at football so maybe England thought they were safe and they could mess around and stuff.

Lets hope so. Kind of shocking we only drew against the USA, we should have slammed them.

Very disappointed with our performance so far, COME ON BOYS! Wednesday was a massive improvement, Rooney looked a lot better and ffs will we pleeeease keep Heskey off!

Looking forward to Sunday, though I think we're going to get knocked out soon

Lol did anyone see the Netherlands-Denmark game? I loved the keeper's reaction when Denmark scored on themselves. I'm actually not watching any of the games but I've seen bits. I'm glad but not surprised that Netherlands is through, we have a pretty good team. (Because Canada fails at soccer Netherlands are my team). I really should watch more though, soccer players are often attractive :P

I disagree, I have nothing against Ghana but if the last African team went out the vuvuzelas may have shut up for once!

Meanwhile I am stuck at home this afternoon because of poor weather and a poor bank balance so it's the tv with a few cans for me

edit: I can't see Mexico beating Argentina, I don't think they're clinical enough infront of goal. In turn this is also England's problem. Heskey is an offside magnet and Rooney needs to start on the bench - no man is bigger than the team and he's been very disappointing. I'd put Defoe and Crouch to start

If by atmosphere you mean a constant drone which never varies in pitch and is louder than a pneumatic drill then you're right

All I can say about the England vs Germany match is that I fully understand why many people can't bear to watch it.
I'm definitely going to be on the edge of my seat throughout.
Fingers crossed for victory

That was not the ref's fault. The linesman is responsible for that kind of thing.

It should have been a goal but, if you were to believe the commentators, the Wehrmacht have just been seen goose-stepping down Marble Arch!

Just as I feared. England is a mess, seriously where is the organisation?
Bah, can't be bothered to watch any more, it's finished!

Yeaah I agree but the ref was the one who ruled no goal, so In the end though England just lost it completely. I have given up watching, its appalling.
