So tired.
I am just so tired emotionally, mentally and physically because of where I work. Today was just one of those days were I felt like everything went wrong. Staff talk behind your back but not addressing the issue to your face, co-workers not caring how the day went and no support from management.
I've tried so many times to seek elsewhere to work but maybe I'm just being too picky. I'm just done with everything at the moment. |
Re: So tired.
I don’t have advice or anything but wanted to say I’m so sorry work isn’t great for you and that you’ve had a hard time finding a job. I’m hoping opportunity comes along soon.

Re: So tired.
Hello,
I am so sorry that you are having a hard time with this right now and I hope that you will be okay soon. When we are going to work and you have other people who do not care about working and the job that they have to do, it can be hard to work with them and get along with them too. Also when you go to talk about this with the manager and they are not helping you with this, that is not a good feeling to have. I hope that you will be able to find a different job that they will treat you nice and are great to work with. Try not to get upset about this and if you can do something to help you get your mind off this so that you are not thinking about it. Going for a walk or listening to music or watching movies or TV shows or playing a game or calling a friend or family member or reading or drawing or writing or something else that you enjoy doing. I hope that you will be okay soon. |
Re: So tired.
Hey there, I'm sorry you were struggling at work the other day. How are you feeling now? The job market is really tough right now, no matter where you are in the world — it's tough for me and I'm on the opposite corner of the Earth from you!
Something will come along, I want to believe that for you, myself, and everyone whose either feels like their job is going nowhere or has struggled to find a job after being laid off due to the pandemic a year and half ago. Keep looking and make connections. Also, I recall some time ago you said you had projects or hobbies. How are those coming along? Do you think you could form anything out of those? More recently, you'd spoken about a graphic design software. Have you made a decision about that and what do you plan to do with it? You certainly do not have to answer these questions, but they are some things for you to think about. :) Wishing you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do. |

Thank you all for your replies! :)
I am feeling more positive due to applying for more jobs within my interests and I hope I get at least an interview. |

Hello there!
You need to have a goal while studying to not lose focus. Whether you're reading or writing, set a goal for yourself at the end of each week to ensure you are on pace to meet your deadlines. Moreover, you should not study incessantly for 6 to 7 hours. Do not study for more than 30 consecutive minutes. Take small breaks. Get out of your chair and take a round of the house. Then, continue. Try putting away your mobile phones. These are the biggest distractions these days. Whenever I try to study, my mind is focused completely on my phone’s notifications. Moreover, a good night's sleep is essential for staying focused and learning effectively. Here is a blog you can read for motivation https://mytutorsource.hk/blog/best-w...n-to-learn/You might assume that staying up all night working will help you stay on track with your studies. However, pulling all-nighters and working when sleep-deprived might harm your health and, as a result, obstruct your work. |

Hello there!
I know I'm late to the conversation, but I just thought of checking in with you - how are you doing now? Have you heard back from any of your job applications? Remember what you have been feeling is valid. It's not a nice feeling at all to have colleagues that gossip about you or have a negligent management. You're doing the right thing by looking for other opportunities. You don't deserve to remain in a place that doesn't treat you right. Take care! |
Re: So tired.
Thank you for your reply. :) I'm better in some ways and still the same in others. I haven't really progressed much with my job applications as I lack experience. Hopefully that will change soon. :hehe:
