Education and Careers Work of any kind can get stressful at times. Ask in this forum if you need help with coursework, applications, and more.
I was told to post in here. I'm not sure what to say. Hi
I'm bored. Won't know if this semester coming up will be online or in person. In person means I have to live in my dorm again. Online means I stay living at home. Last semester was all online because of covid 19. I have a dog that is 7 years old. He is my world.
Hi! Would you prefer to live at home or in your dorm? I hope whichever preference you have is the scenario you end up in as school is hard enough at the moment without the additional stress from not being where you feel comfortable.
What breed is your dog? I hope to get one myself as soon as my situation allows and dogs are one of the happiest topics to talk about!
Well there is pros and cons to everything. So I can't really choose. I want to stay home but its not because I hate my dorm or anything. Being in my dorm would have a lot of pros. I just want to stay home mainly because I have gotten comfortable being at home. I am more of an introvert. I still want friends even though I'm an introvert.
I have gotten comfortable with just staying at home and doing my class over zoom. Just being in my own comfort zone. Wearing comfortable clothes and not having to over worry about how I look. Also less stress because I didn't have to socialize on campus or be on campus. So didn't have to deal with the stress of walking to class and didn't have to interact in person with professors and students which was comfortable to me to not have to do that. On the other hand yes there was some cons to staying home.
I really want to stay home in my comfort zone. Its going to be hard to adjust to livinign back in the dorm again.
Once everyone gets their covid vaccines, you might try joining a doggy club. There's bound to be one in your area. Doggy clubs bring dog owners together, and when together they chat. (And I expect their dogs bark and play with each other!). But I just thought this could be a good way of encouraging you to go out and meet others, bringing your doggy, too. That way you may not feel so lonely.
