School bags - May 6th 2016, 05:31 PM

Okay so this is making me crazy!!!

I carry my work in Manila folders neatly in a tote bag. Then in front of those, I put my physical education (dance for me) clothes and shoes, then my calculator.

So that's all good and I have room for one more thing which is my pencil case.
You may notice I have no lunch box, and that's s problem. I deliberately bought this bag because it had no room for a lunchbox because I'm struggling with eating (have anorexia)

Do you think I should:
1. Empty my pencil case and put lunch in it
2. Buy lunch at school (all good food )
3. Take my pencil case out and put a lunch box in.

PLEASE HELP THIS IS STRESSING ME OUT!

Ps. I currently have lunch in my pencil case

I don't think you should like take out your pencil case. Maybe buy something at school to eat or could you put your lunch in a carrier/plastic bag ?

Hey there,

I’ve moved this over to ‘Eating Disorders’ because I think it fits a bit better.

Anyway, is it possible to carry your physical education clothes and shoes into separate bag (even if it’s just a plain plastic bag) to make more room? That’s what I did when I was at school anyway. You ideally need a bag that can fit you pencil case, folders and lunch. I understand that having anorexia means that lunch can be difficult for you, and you could always buy lunch at school, but at the same time it could also be easier to skip lunch that way, which wouldn’t be helping your anorexia, as opposed to already bringing lunch into school. Also, are you having any professional help for your anorexia?

Can you get a lunch box that you would feel comfortable holding in your hand or like putting it with a hook of some sort to your other bag?

I agree with Holly's suggestion of carrying your dance clothes and shoes in a separate bag to free up some space in your tote. I used to carry my P.E. clothes and shoes in a cloth bag when I was in school, so that I still had room for my books, stationery, and lunch in my bag. After all, you're going to need your pencil case for your classes, so it won't do to take it out of your bag, or take your stationery out of it so that you can put your lunch in there instead.
