Help on getting back up after failing at school. - April 7th 2015, 06:37 PM

Hello Everybody!

I'm new here, this is my first post on this forum, first day actually :-). Big ups to the people who came up with such a forum, that's just genius!

I need help on getting back up after falling. I am a 16 year old from South Africa. In SA, an academic year is divided into four terms. I failed my first term very badly, although this isn't the end as there's still 3 more terms.

I'm struggling to let go of the lingering thought of not ever passing any other exam. I'm filled with a lot of negativity. Every time I study, I study with my heart beating fast, as if I'm scared I won't ever grasp the material I'm studying. I've been studying really hard lately and although I've been able to answer most questions, I still feel as if it's not enough.

I really need help on this one, people. I dream of one day becoming an Airline Pilot for my national airline, fly those long A340-600s to IAD(Washington) yo ;-).

So really, guys, I have a dream which requires lots of hard work and good school marks.

Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Regards
Orifha
