Favorite literary genre?

What is everyone's favorite literary genre? This can include original fiction, fan fiction, or other written works.

I enjoy reading historical fiction, fan-based creative works, and contemporary poetic works.

I still like young adult fiction. I don’t know if these are themed but LGBTQ and stuff about mental illness.

My favourite genre is fantasy. I sometimes read historical fiction as well.

I like generic fiction. Sometimes it's historical, sometimes it has slight fantasy or sci-fi, but mostly it's pretty generic. :)
