Songs about Death and grieving - June 29th 2015, 05:02 PM

Does anyone have any good songs that has helped you through the grieving process? I just recently lost my dad and I'd like to make a playlist of songs to help me cope with his passing. Any suggestions?

From Where You Are - Lifehouse
Guardian - Helio
I'll Be Missing You - P. Diddy
Meet You There - Simple Plan
Who You'd Be Today - Kenny Chesney
Here Without You - 3 Doors Down
Tonight - FM Static
Vanilla Twilight - Owl City
When You're Gone - Avril Lavigne
Slipped Away - Avril Lavigne
Just a Dream - Carrie Underwood
Perfect World - Simple Plan
Where Are You Now - Britney Spears
Untitled - Simple Plan
What Hurts the Most - Rascal Flatts

Not all of them may necessarily be about death, and not all will fit your situation but this is my playlist I already had made. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I just lost a friend of mine, and music has been my escape, but I've also had trouble finding good songs. I did find these though if you want to give them a try. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

See You Again: Carrie Underwood
Let It Hurt: Rascall Flatts

Remember, time heals. Just hang in there. You can message me whenever you want if you need someone to talk to.

It's about the singer's mother, but God Went North by Nothing More is about the loss of a parent.
