I would love to hear what some of your favorite things to cook during the summer are, especially if it doesn't require heating up the house by using the oven a lot. I always struggle to come up with inspiration this time of year.

I make a really good chicken & bacon pasta salad which has:
- Chicken breast, cooked with salt, pepper and cajun spice
- crispy bacon (cooked in the air frier)
- Wild rocket
- Onion
- Peppers
- Cucumber
- fusilli pasta
- Mayonnaise dressing
It's nice and refreshing, and easy to prepare.
Looking forward to hearing more recipes, especially ones that don't take too long! I love cooking, but I'm definitely a winter cook rather than a summer one usually.

This sounds so good!! My partner and I love pasta salad and are going to the grocery store later today, so I'll definitely make sure we pick up the ingredients for this to make over the weekend!

These are some recipes that I'm trying to make this weekend:
1. Banana cinnamon rolls
I have a bunch of bananas that are so ripe they're turning brown. But after making loads of banana bread over the past few months, I wanted to try something different, so I found a recipe online that uses bananas in cinnamon rolls.
Again, I haven't tried this yet, but looks super interesting and delicious. Just uses limes, condensed milk and water/ice which are hopefully available easily to many: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rxaqmzndR8
Some recipes also add coconut milk to it.
3. Orange marmalade
Good quality marmalade is always so expensive! I'm going to try making my own with just 2 ingredients: oranges and sugar. You can add lemons if you like.
It's not in English though, but I found an English version that looks very similar. The only difference is that the recipe above doesn't use eggs and the one below does. I've never eaten a gyros salad with eggs, but I imagine it fits well. https://www.mecooks.com/salads/gyros-salad/
