What are your budget friendly meals/snacks? -
March 6th 2022, 01:50 PM
What are your budget friendly easy to make meals and snacks that you enjoy?
I usually buy frozen veggies as they last longer and are just as healthy; here is a healthy recipe that I make myself that's packed full of protein, fiber and nutrients and it's only 3 ingredients!
Raw frozen shrimp
Frozen green beans
Fresh garlic
I cook the shrimp first. I drain the liquid that the shrimp produces. Next I throw in the cut up garlic (I like lots!) next I add in the frozen green beans! I add a little water so it doesn't stick and mix in the frying pan.
I use one frying pan and the dish that I eat off. The cutting board for the garlic. It's easy to clean up meal and heathy.
What do you like making or having?

I just get veggie salsa, corn chips, avocado and light cheese and make homemade nachos. Super quick and cheap!

I like getting peanut butter crackers and dipping them in jam. I think that's budget friendly?

It is so good! I also get lite sour cream as well. Where I am, I bought the home brand corn chips, one avocado, a small container of lite sour cream and a container of the veggie salsa for under $8 and I got 3 serves out of it.
