It is an addiction.
I relapsed after 8 months and haven't really been able to stop.
All i can say is try REALLY hard not to relapse again because i know for me every time makes me crave it even more.

Like an addiction you may even have a version of "withdrawal syndrome"

It's like an addiction for most people. I have tried to be SH free for the past 5 years. I'm not going to lie to you and say that I haven't slipped, because I have. alot. but I have pushed forward and have seeked help and now I tell someone I have slipped, just so I have someone that can keep their eye on me incase I continue to harm myself. Maybe that's what you need. If you have anyone you can confide in, do so.

It is an addiction. I was clean for a year and a half then started again. A lot of us struggle with that addiction...your not alone. I was clean for so long I thought but now...now I'm still cutting and I'm still as bad as I was...

Don't you hear me?
Screaming for the one missing all the signs.
Why must I work so hard?!
To show you I'm dying inside?
